Plot
Newly wed Laura Carson Fuller (Austin) dreams of Africa; nightmares that alarm her husband Dan (Fuller). After being put under hypnosis by Dan's friend, Dr. Carl Reiner (Justine), Laura reveals that she was a gorilla in a previous life. Regardless of the danger, Dan takes Laura on a jungle honeymoon, where her ultimate fate will be decided...
'Wood'-ness
The story for The Bride and the Beast is not Ed's. Despite this, the script bears many of his marks: obtuse dialogue, the occult, and angora all play their part.
The characters are not particularly Woodian (no doubt due to it not being his story).
Ultimately, this film has the undeniable stamp of Ed on it. It's a must have.
